Pulsar 92 Gti Radiator fan not turning on

Hi all,

A few weeks ago i was out camping and had the car running to charge my phone and the radiator started bubbling, didn't get into the red on the temp gauge but it was close, since then i hadn't worked out why it was heating up so much when when the car was idle, until today.
I was in a carpark waiting for somebody when it started to creep up again, turned my car off and then the ignition on again in the hopes the fan would come on but it didn't , checked out all the fuses and they were fine, noticed the aircon fan is also out of order, any ideas what could cause them both to fail?

Thanks in advance,
Aaron

I'm not sure since you don't have an SR engine but there's a temp switch that tells the fans to kick on and off based on engine temp. Might need a new switch.

on your engine that swtich could be in a few places but start with the water outlet on the upper side of the engine or in the radiator.

It should be a small cylindrical sensor with a single wire comming off of it.
