Just picked up a 94' Sentra E and am looking to swap in the SE-R motor. Don't really want to go turbo so the DET engine is not an option. anyone know of any places to go for J-spec motors (non-DET)? Thanks for your help.
and then you should go read all the posts about how you shouldnt swap a sr20 into a ga16 car, as it requires much more work than it is worth. just search for an ser and when you find one, sell your e and buy it.
I kind of tend to agree. SE-Rs are so cheap these days that saving yourself the pain and suffering of doing the GA to SR swap seems to be worth it. And then you get the SE-R's better suspension, tranny, the SR20 obviously... etc.
but i really don't want a 2dr....anyway its not exactly something i have time or money for either way, i'm just doing some homework for when i graduate, get a job, buy a new car, and use my ga16 as a hobby car.
if your talking about B13s then ya, the SE-Rs are cheap, but if your dealing with B14s thats a different story. honestly, i do plan to swap in an SR20, but im also heading for a DET as well.
