93 SE-R, wheels don't spin freely, why?

I have noticed that the car doesn't roll as easy as it should in neutral. Put car on lift and noticed that it requires a fair amount of force to rotate the front tires. The brakes are not engaged in any way. Any thoughts as to what would cause this???
Sentra, manual trans, 93 SE-R

Thanks

Thumbs up

On a front drive even in neutral you are still having to move the driveshafts when spinning the wheel, that is a fair bit of drag.

Definately not normal resistance.

Don't assume I know what I am doing, is there some grease/lubrication that if neglected, could cause this?

Maybe bad wheel bearings?

should be in the B-13 column

three things........stuck brake caliper...front wheel bearings...tranny wear.
Try this, put the car on the lift, start it up and run it in 1st gear. Hear anything dragging or scraping? Now put the brakes on,anything change?
Try to isolate or locate the noise while turning the steering wheel.
Also, put the car in neutral to see if the wheels are still going around.
