Question stillen fuel pressure riser/regulator

Hi. I have a 95 200SX SE-R with CAI and a cat-back and I'm kinda lacking low end powerand throttle response. I know the JWT ECU is probably by far the best upgrade if I only have a few light mods to get better throttle response and all that, however, I don't really want to spend $750 + another $750 core charge or whatever it is. I was wondering if a Stillen fuel pressure regulator helps with low-end power or throttle response at all. I would really appreciate any help and/or advice. Thanks,
Patrick

Unfortunately, anything I know is that you sacrifice one for the other, low end power for high end power. I found out by accident when I put my silencer on my coffee can, I got better low end, I knew it but forgot it. I liked the low end response and stealth like kills but I couldn't stand the quiet.

You can also do the timing advance to 17 degrees, I read in another, to tighten the slack on your throttle cable.

You can also make your girlfriend walk and ditch the speakers. J/K

Raising your fuel pressure will just make the fuel better available to the stock injectors when you are at WOT.

Another suggestion that was made by another member was to invest in Cam Gears and go to Se-r. net for the info on proper timing set.

I will be corrected if I am wrong, but at any rate good luck.

Get timing to 17 or 18 depending on CRs fuel.
Get TPS to .58v.

sorry, but I am not very knowledgable about my car and all. Is TPS, Throttle Position Sensor? and what is .58v? and then with the timing at 17 degrees, should I use 91 octane gas?
thanks,
Patrick

No need to apologize. Yes, TPS is throttle position sensor, but keep it within specifications which is between .45v and .55v (which is the voltage coming from the TPS). Check out http://www.se-r.net/engine/tps_voltage_adjustment.html for details.

Yes you should, but you can get away with buying 89 on cooler days.
