Just a few questions...

I'm thinking about buying a NX2000 and doing a GTi-R swap and maybe eventually upgrading the turbo, but I've got several things I want to find out before I decide to do all that. First, I'm guessing that I would have to find an aftermarket exhaust for the NX, but I haven't had much luck finding anything. Does anyone know what companies make exhaust parts, or would I just be better off getting a local shop to fab one up for me? Also I wanted to know how strong the SR20's stock engine is, and the GTi-R transmission as well. And I think the last thing is if anyone knows whether a front-mount intercooler will work with the stock front bumper on the NX, and if not, where I could get a body kit for it. Thanks.

The Gti-r engine is good to +400 hp.

The Gti-r transmission is AWD so you have to buy a FWD transmission and modify the FWD flywheel to fit the gti-r. b13 & b14 are good to around 250 whp b15 will do much better with higher hp.

You will need a downpipe and back for exhaust and it can be done custom or found on the forum classifieds (here and sr20forum).

Depends on the size of the intercooler

So you can't just make the NX AWD with the GTi-R's transmission?

What are your goals with the car? drag road race auto x daily driver
I wouldnt unless you have a welder, alot of automotive knowlege, a few months off work/school, and a few grand over the fwd swap burning a whole in your pocket.
If you want AWD it would be easer and cheaper to find a imported puslar.
