I am debating whether to install a turbo on my 200sx. I dont plan on getting the whole sr20det swap, but just buying everything i need to put a turbo on my sr20. I know i need the turbo, manifold, ecu. Is there anything else i need to buy? Also, which turbos fit on my car, and which ones are the best?
You have a lot of parts that you will need.
Manifold, turbo, Jpipe, inlet pipe, IC piping, intercooler, BOV, Downpipe, JWT ECU or other types of fuel management, injectors, EGR removal and plate(to block off), various vacuum lines, gauges(boost, oil pressure), fuel pump(optional), various clamps and couplers. I am sure I have forgotten something but feel free to ask. Have a good one!

Hey thanks for all the info. How much did this end up costing you (Im assuming you purchased an aftermarket turbo not the DET). Also, what the hell is some of that stuff?
AHH!!! Please search or you will get a huge amount of flamage for questions like this. There is a huge amount of info. on this if you just spend some time looking it up. Search the forums, check out se-r.net , sentra.net , and sr20deforum .
Also......PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE know what you are getting into. Bolting on a turbo or doing an engine swap involves a huge amount of time, energy, fine tuning, and a lot of $$$ (I can guarentee you will spend more than simply the engine or kit). A forced induced engine is completely different than an NA motor, you will be looking at (a minimum) of a kit (or engine), ECU, tranny, manifold, piping, intercooler, fuel management, gauges, etc., etc., etc.......and a shitload of trouble shooting.
damn, where to start.... turbo, exh. manifold, IC, IC plumbing, intake plumbing, fuel injectors, ecu, exhaust, downpipe, downpipe gasket, exh. manifold gasket, drill and tap the block, oil line, oil line fittings, water line hoses and fittings, clutch, motor mounts, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge would be a good idea, boost controllers are fun, compressor bypass valve, 4mm and 6mm silicone vacuum lines, zip ties, hose clamps, anti-seize, RTV, lots of tools, jackstands or a lift if you got access to one, O2 sensor bung might be necessary, wires to extend O2 sensor, bend the oil catch can tube, wastegate, gapped spark plugs, egr removal, drill a hole through your firewall, electical tape, and i'm sure i'm missing a few things. Oh, and once you get all of that stuff, you gotta hook it up.
