ABOUT BOTTOM ENGINE TO REBUILD

Can anyone tell me which best high compression or low compression like 11.1:1 compression or 9.1:1 compression or 8.5:1 compression?
so get rubuild engine to get new piston.
Which best make like Wiseco Pistons or HKS or JE or JDW or CP and etc.?
My engine are SR20DE will be bore 86.5mm and will use Pulsar GTIR CYLINDER HEAD cos of high port that my engine are low port so want change it to get better performance.

N/A or turbo? How much u looking to spend? YA know there are sevrel ways to skin a cat.

Your basic turbo set ups will start you around 205HP

N/A: There are many things u can do. along with the price tags with each way .. just remember the N/A way will owen your pocket book...
my two cents chip-

NEVER gonna happen at your budget.
A turbo setup will run you between 1500 and 4000 depending on which route you go.
NA power at that level will cost you a LOT LOT MORE! I don't know if you realize that just rebuilding your engine is going to cost you around 800-100 dollars and you'll just get a new engine out of it with the stock hp.

Higher compression really wont get you anything. just more headaches if you want to go turbo later.

I'd save your money and either buy an SR20VE and bolt-ons and you'll get nice HP or buy a turbo and start with 200 hp and build from there if you want more.

best pistons would probably have been what you had in there stock. The engine was so overbuilt to begin with that there is no need to change out anything.

Are you planning on having over 500 hp?

I'm not sure about the head fitting a UDSM or JDM SR20DE engine. I know there are parts of the GTi-R that will only fit the GTi-R engine and nothing else and ise versa. You'll have to do some research to see if that head will fit a block from anything else.

ok so you have a p11 infiniti G20(as it's called here in the states)

Good cheap pistons are stock pistons from nissan. they make them oversized and ready to install. They also have the rings there so just buy it all from Nissan.

the ONLY way your going to get 200 hp from an NA SR20DE is to spend thousands of dollars on every possible thing you can that they make for it.

If I were you I'd stick with the lowport head and start with a Highport cam and a header and exhaust and a nice intake system. That will get you around 20-25 hp maybe.
after that your going to be spending MAJOR money on parts that still wont get you to 200hp.

if I remember right, the highest HP NA SR20DE engine is just barely touching 200hp and all the guy does that owns it is research and design SR20 parts.
