swap and Maf Reground problems
ok, I just swapped a avenier motor in my 91 sentr se-r and fired it up and it doesnt idle, and when I give it some gas it misses quite a bit and runs super rich, the plugs foul after a few minutes, now it wont start, I looked over everything and it all looks plugged in and good, its a u12 bluebird ecu, u12 fuel rail, tps, distributor, coil, sr20de o2 sensor, and a maf from a s13, the motor itself checks out fine with compression and good cams, so i am thinking it might be the maf, does the oem maf for a usdm sr20de work with a u12 sr20det? I also found around 20 ohms resistance on the maf and found the main motor to chassis ground was loose, so I fixed that and then it had 5 ohms resistance, so I hooked up a jumper for the ground and it still ran bad, any help? oh and I am running the sr20de harness too. If I disconnect the maf it still wont idle but if i give it a little gas it will run steady at aroun 1500rpm? I swapped in my sr20de ecu, it idled okay with a temporary jumper to ground for the maf cause it had a .014 volt drop, when I took off the extra ground while it was running it died, and before that I noticed the resistance would rise from 5 ohms to 15 ohms from plugging it in and disconnecting it, so I figured in the possibily of bad pin tension in the connctor so I wired in a whole new connector , I added on an extra ground going to the intake manifold, soldered and heat shrinked all connections, and when i plugged it in and turned the key on I get 1.3 volts to the power wire, 0 to the signal, the signal has .2 ohms to ground, the ground has the same, and the power wire has 2.5k to ground, and it doesnt run, so since I had another ecu laying around(a u12 bluebird), I cut the power wire and took off the extra ground just to be safe, and now I have battery voltage to the power wire, but I havent hooked it all back up yet fearing that I will fry an ecu, could that sheilding have anything to do with it, or did i screw up in another way? I checked the wires to and they are wired in right, im so lost on this, any help please
