Vitek wires

Can anyone help out there. I am looking to get some 8mm vitek wires. I have a 98 200sx SE-R. I know Stillen sells them but for more than I want to pay I found them cheaper, But everywere I look they are listed for 95-97 200sx. As far as I know the SR20DE is no different in 98 so they should work. Does anyone know different.

i spent alot of money on my viteks and they only lasted two and a half years. one started to spark through the plastic "barrel" that goes to the spark plug. i just went out and bought some NGK's for $67 and they are just as nice.

just my $.02

hell since you live in salem if you want to go for a little drive you can have mine.

to the best of my knowledge the engines are no different.

Re: Vitek wires

How cheap did you find them for?

If you still want Vitek, I can probably get them for cheaper than anyplace else. Eric the owner is a good friend of mine.

And it will fit the '98 also. Vitek just didn't update their catalog. They have so many part numbers that they don't always stay on top and change the years, but it will fit.

Here's a neat trick, Honda Accord wires fit, they are the same depth almost, you can make it work great if need be. BUT, they are not good in length/fitment and may expire sooner than usual.

NGK's is what I used to use on a race car I had and they worked great for a long time. But I usually replace sooner than 2 yrs now.

use OEM Nissan Wires or NGK Blues.

The NGK's wires i have had since 1998, i dyno the car every year and have a very smooth curve all the way to redline.

I think Magnecores are red, but I'm not positive. And I think Ractive has red wires also, but I would never use anything from them.

I ran the Vitek for a while on my sentra, about 2 years and they are freying, and have never been taken out/in to induce the wear. I will never go Vitek again. I will stick to OEM or NGK wires. My brother and his buddy are both running the NGK and they are really nice. I was looking at the MSD wires but I don't know.
