EGR Flow Code, anyway to stop it from coming up?
So I disconnected my EGR from the BPT and plugged the hole. Reason I did that is because it was causing a missfire in Cylinder 1. Ive had my EGR cleaned but I need to buy a new BPT (as far as I know) to correct the problem or just leave it disconnected. Personally.. it runs better without it so Id rather leave it that way, plus when I start doing more mods Im not going to have it anyway. The only reason I still have it on there is for when emissions comes back around I can reconnect it just so they can run it on their sniffers. But of course my ECU is throwing a code, "EGR Flow" is all it said, but thats using Advanced Autos scan tool. Tomorrow I will clear it using my shops scanner so I will have more information on the actual code, but is there anyway to stop it from coming up period without reconnecting it?
