Where is the knocking sound coming from? Have you used a stethoscope to listen to the motor and locate the source of the noise?

You need to install an oil pressure gauge (and the appropriate sensor) to check oil pressure. This typically gets installed in-line with the factory oil pressure sending unit.

What sort of knocking sound are you talking dude? Is it coming from the head near where the timing chain is situated?
