it returns The clutch is engaging properly......it was doing this before--- thats why I put a new clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, in ,in the first place ( bad usage of commas .
You know when you put a new clutch in and for like about 5 minutes you have it depressed and it makes a funky whining noise till it gets aligned? It did that!! SO I KNOW IT HAS TO BE WORKING?!?!?! So why is it not?

When I took the old clutch out-- it was exploded.
Maybe it is something internal?
Did you check your snout, maybe your tob is binding on that, cause sometimes they get bad ridges in them.
heres a dumb question...my throwout bearing only has one tab holding it on the fork...is that normal? Regardless- I can hear the clutch engaging? The old throwout bearing that I took out didnt even have any tabs on it. The new one didnt come with any ( KEY VALUE NISSAN CLUTCH KIT ) I found this "one" in the tranny when I pulled it so I thought I should use it?
Man, any clutch fork should have at least 2 tabs on each side to move the throw-out bearing. I'm not familar with your application, but it sounds a little messed up with only one tab moving it.
Its working though is the thing, but it acts like there is no clutch?!?!?! I still cant put it into gear when the car is on the ground....... I cant believe that I have it that misadjusted-- I adjusted it so it had as much pressure on the clutch as possible..it shouldnt even be engaging!

How is it working? Does the pedal just go to the floor and not come back? You should have a small amount of slack so that the clutch is engaged until you press on the pedal, so what do you mean it shouldnt be engaging? Take a pry bar and move the clutch fork arm or whatever you call it, and see how it feels.
Luckily I talked to one of my friends who used to be the head mechanic at my local nissan. He told me that I may have put the clutch in backwards. He said he has done it before and it would lock the clutch up like that where it would not let it disengage-- Im going to pull it to see if that is what happened--- I dont see how it could be something internal?!?!?

Well don't rule that out. Do yourself a favor and take the gear stack cover off. Push the striking rod through the gears and watch them engage. This will eliminate that possibility and the time to do it is when the tranny is out of the car.

Kooskia here: I agree with your mechanic friend the clutch is eithor in
backword or the throw out berring is backword, It could also be the
fork not slipping down on the pivot ball far enough It is defenitely one
of these 3 things.............................good luck
