Almost done with my turbo swap, but on my alternator harness, there is a yellow and black wire, does anybody know where on the alternator it goes, also I decided to notch out part of the crossmember for the turbo to fit, should I reinforce it or will it be fine, and do you have to do anything different to the front mount on the crossmember to get the mount to fit?

Okay, I decided to fabricate the frount mount bracket so it will be out of the way of the turbo, but I ran into two other problems, first, I installed the jgy 8 lb flywheel and 6 puck clutch, but there is way to much slack in the calbe, it just barely starts to disengage with the pedal to the floor, and before i did the swap, the clutch worked fine? And there are two vacumm lines, one is coming from the outlet pipe of the turbo, and one is coming from the inlet pipe, and I cant seem to find out where they go? Like some sort of pressure differential switch or something, cause I have all the other hoses hooked up on the car.
get a new cable just for the heck of it, get a OEM one its 40 bucks and takes 30 minutes to do if done right. On second thought though u did change and install the TOB correctly didnt u. My dumb ass forgot to change the TOB when installing my tranny the first time and had the same syptoms so i hope u are positive on doing that correctly. As for the vacuum lines just block them off for now and either do a pressure test or when u start your car look for poblems such as bad brakes, no boost, bad fuel pressure to help indicate where a vacuum problem may lie

Yeah, I plan on getting a new clutch cable for sure, and yeah the tob is on there right, cause at first when I noticed that I pulled the tranny back out and made sure everything was right, and I had a friend you is a tranny tech, and he checked everything and it was all good, but I did notice a difference from the sr20de motor clutch and the sr20det motor, and my new clutch is the sr20de style, but 6 puck, but since its the non turbo tranny it should be fine right? I just really hope its a clutch cable.
idk which specific sr20det u have swapped in there but yes u have to use the stock se-r trans that is correct. In clutches are the differences that lie between awd, fwd, and rwd clutches. All from each group should all be the same size regardless of being turbo. i know the stock se-r is 215 mm or something im not sure and the awd clutches are a little bigger.
bottom line is u really have nothing to worry about as long as u got a clutch for a sentra se-r u may just have a different style clutch as before such as 6 puck, street disc, or the kinda thats a full sprung street disc with the individual pads im not sure of the name.

The new clutch cable fixed it! Now I just have to fabricate a new front motor mount, reinforce the crossmember and find some cheap temporary intercooler piping.
u know what my front motor mount went too and i dont usually like to be a beater but since my clutch went too i have to. I jammed some inch or so tubing through the gap that was there and then hammered a thick nail in between the tubing, its ghetto but tight and will worth until i get some poly mounts
glad to see u got one problem out of the way best of luck with the next one on the list

Yeah, Im thinking about finding a coolant hose of the right shape for my intercooler piping until I can afford to do it right.

why dont you try exhaust piping for the time being? I have a couple of friends who have done it for intercooler piping and for coolant lines.. I have seen it done a bunch of times with guys who have mudding trucks. The will actually get 2 inch exhaust piping to run the coolant to the rear radiator ( keeps it out of the mud) and you can bend it however you want--- it can be permanent or temporary.

Yeah, thats not a bad idea, I will try that out tomorrow.
