having some problems?

Okay this has happened to me on many different occasions.... i start my car and let it sit for a while....when i get in the car and try and put it in reverse the rpms bounce up and down from 1000 to 500 making my car lung and the lights are flickering in and out and then my car dies. I start it again and it then it doesn't do it.....okay but then i am going down the road and push the gas pedal all the way down...the car sits there at 2000 rpms and doesn't go anywhere for 3 seconds and then it goes....??? someone help me out...thanks

Loose battery connections???or starter wires???
Make sure the fuel filter is clean or replace it. I had this kinda of problem on my other car I had. The new fuel filter was defective causing the injectors to clog, causing the car to be slow at first.

Or is it one of those: I don't know why my car hates me! It was fine yesterday.

You also have a couple of ground wires that I would inspect, the first one is mounted to the thermostat housing. The other one being your battery oh and 2 small ones one your #1 runner facing driverside. Thats' the location on a low port any how. OOPS! HIGH PORT.
