I just bought a 2000 sentra SE and the knob was kinda lose so i decided that i wanted to purchse antoher one, but before i did that i wanted make sure i could easily remove my old one and i can't and i dont know whether to pull straight up or twist, any help?


I know its simple, but please help

Mine has a plastic peice at the bottom of the knob that you screw off, and then there is an allen screw, but its either on that way or it twists off.

Where is the screw at? just right below the shifting knob or all the way under the covering? because the leather on the knob just seems to move and it doesnt feel as if it is unscrewing
