SR20DE mods?

I posted this in the B15 forums and was told to post in here. What mods(besides CAI,headers, and exhaust) are good for my sr20de? Does anyone do software for the ecu? Any advantage of advancing the distributor?

Yup. I sure wouldn't. I for one will keep ignoring until you read the rules about searching before making threads.

You don't have to be a DICK. Read my sig, I'm new. By the way, Mr. perfect, what key words would I search to find out what mods you guys are doing and what suppliers have good feedback.

Oh man...
I would say it's time for you to look for a different forum. Because that's not the way to make friends.

For the 00 and 01 SE people use the APEXi SAFC to do minor fuel tuning. Aside from that underdrive pulley's and cams are your next mods.

Yes, I do. Being that I've only been answering the same question over and over for three years, I have all the right in the world to sling my cock here and there.

I don't care what your sig says. Fact is, when you signed up, you were supposed to read and follow the rules, just like everyone else. I don't give anyone any special treatment. Help yourself first before asking for help. I refuse to hand everything on a silver platter all of the time.

Others members, including me, have been contributing our time, effort, and lots of patience into getting facts straight, providing help whenever it is actually needed, and all we ask for in return is doing some self-service first. If you're not going to take the initiative to do what you're supposed to, why should I provide you with the information that you can find on your own?

There is no Mr. Perfect, but if you didn't take the nudge I gave you as a stimulus to do what you're supposed to, and instead give me attitude, you're not going to get any help.

This place will never be like sr20forum.com, and I hope it doesn't become that. This forum has a much larger audience of car owners than sr20forum could ever have. When forums get as big as this one, some rules have to be put in place in order to accomplish two things:

a) Save time by searching first.

b) Save valuable forum space.

So, if someone stresses to use a very convenient tool such as the search button, there are more reasons than just being a dick. The point is to promote self-service so no one has to wait around for someone to help them. Also, note that the member who made this thread posted at a time when forum traffic is low. And not too long after that, he made another post, demanding someone help him instantaneously. Again, let's see what resource this impatient person could have used in order to avoid the "downtime" and horrible FREE service he is getting.

I think an adjustment of perspective is warranted here.

/end of my argument in this thread.
