Locked First And Second

I JUST GOT A NEW CLUTCH, AND FLY WHEEL ON MY 95 SE-R AND I PUSHED IT AND MY FIRST AND SECOND LOCKED FOR AWHILE DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS OR IS IT FROM THE CLUTCH?

Please explain a little more clearly what is going on. Can you not push the clutch in, or does the gear shift not go into first or second gears? Does the car go in gear when the engine is not running, or when it's running is it hard/impossible to push in?

Also, what kind of clutch is it, and who installed it?
