APEXi Air Filter

So In a couple weeks I was plaining on spending $50 on a K&N filter with an adapter plate for my car.. just removing the airbox and putting the filter on. My friend (maybe saw his guide Long ago about putting some $15 cone and plate on a GA16) did it to his so I know what to do already, simple as it is. Im not looking for some huge leap in preformance, I dont even want a CAI, but I was doing a bit of research and acording to everything I saw the Apexi filter was worlds better, mostly because its dry and no need for the same mantancance as a wet filter. Well.. I dont need the whole intake really, I dont care that much, Id rather just buy the filter and a plate to connect it to my stock intake.

So.. Good idea, bad idea? Thing worth the extra $100+ just to get the piping? Should I save my money and just buy the K&N? Where can I find just the APEXi filter and adapter plate?

hell if you are going to spend the money, just get a JWT pop charger. At least they are proven to provide gains.

lol found this one...

http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...roducts_id=593

Its not too much more then the K&N, but it says "only filter and filter cap included" so I would still need the adapter plate, if I could find one easily. But anyway... is it worth it over a K&N and even a APEXi?

And off that site you gave me...

THats a bit expensive.
