Ok, I figure since there isn't a gtir forum on here, and this engine is in a 200sx...it fits best here! I can't seem to find any translated (non-japanese) pulsar gtir wiring diagrams that are detailed enough to sort out the wiring harness problems I am having, so if someone with any gtir computer harness knowledge could chip in here that would be great! I have an uncut gtir engine/ecu harness, as well as a gtir computer... I would like to strip the harness to just the bare essentials to run the engine, no gauges, dash lights, etc...just what is needed to run! If someone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Also, what other switches/relays/sensors would I need to do this? I am really good with electrical work, as well as mechanical...I am just in the dark here and throwing in the towel before I mess something up! I know when to ask for help ;-)
Or, if no one can directly help, Doesn't want to deal with this wiring mess, or whatever the case is... I would also like a computer harness pin-out and wiring diagram for the ecu harness of the rnn14 Pulsar gtir in english. I am more than happy to do it myself, and post the results later ;-)
Yes, I know I do...this is just a temporary setup. I actually have the ser harness already I just don't have a tuned ecu, or an ecu at all actually. The engine/comupter should be able to run seperately...the gauges and the rest of the instrumentation will not work however. I already have aftermarket tach, oil pressure, boost gauge, and coolant temp gauges. I would just like to make sure the engine runs fine/drives fine before I spend $600 on a jwt ecu, and all the extras to go with it. If it needs any internal work done, I would rather find that out now while I have money...rather than after I have bought an ecu and everything else. I used to have an ae86 toyota with a 5.0L ford v8 from a mustang (with efi still intact) swapped in...Ford racing made that easy though, they sell computer harness kits just for doing swaps ;-) Anyways, to the other person...if you could get me that info that would be great! Thanks!
