AEM ECU

I know that AEM makes their Stand-Alone EMS for the 91-94 Sentra. do they make them for the 1.6 or the 2.0? also, i've never been sure about this, if the software runs on 95, 98, NT, ME, 2K, will it work on my WinXP Vaio? i've been wrong before...

Last I heard they made them for both the SR and GA. As far as the software your best bet is to e-mail AEM directly...

And honestly this question is more engine specific than it is chassis. If you tell me what motor you are using it on (assuming SR20) I can move it to the right forum.

nope, you made a good call with the correct forum. search sr20forum.com or call AEM.

Good luck, how much you plan to spend total for engine management?

I looked into the AEM EMS for my VR-4, about $2500 with all the necessary extras.

well, i've got a project in mind, thats pretty much going to be pulling out all the stops. i've had good luck tuning on the AEM EMS ( at 3 in the morning , on the shoulder of I-84!), and thought that since i plan on building an "SR20VET" engine, i'd want to use a full stand alone system that i could tune for the unique quirks. i know the AEM unit costs almost three times what i paid for the car, but if i do this project, moneys not going to be an object.

yea i was wondering how different the ecus are between the 96 200sx and 94 nissan sentra sr20, also i was told that the bluebird engine will fit in my 96 200sx with out having to use a different wiring harness. if this is so wouldnt an ems ecu for a bluebird 95 work in my car.
