Thumbs up GTIR upgrades, I need some questions answered.

OK i have some questions about how to get my motor up to about 400 hp and for a resonable cost. But here is what im doing. I am getting and Sr20DET GTiR crate motor from a pulsar. OK i have tons of questions.

1.What is the bore size of the pistons? and What would be the best piston upgrade.

2.What would be the best upgrade turbo for it? And what is the best intercooler kit for a 1998 nissan sentra GXE?

3.What about my Rods, and crankshaft? I dont know much about the engine so help me out.

4.Is there anything else that i co do to get my engine bostable up to about 14 psi and to squeeze power out of it?

THANKS GUYS! I will post some more questions after i get these figured out!

I think I've said it before. You need to search. There's no reason to swap out the pistons for 400hp.

don't know much about the engine?

then research it. I suggest you do all that before you even buy the engine and install it, let alone plan 400hp out of it.

Yeah i have spent most of tonight researching on it and i dont need to change anything for 400hp just that cams to tweek the timing and a bigger turbo. well let me know if you have any advice. i still would like to know what the best turbo is if anyone has some input.

Well my first question is going to be what is a reasonable cost?
my version of reasonable and your's is going to be totally different.

As stated before, as long as your A/F ratio is kept in check with the proper fuel managment system you shouldn't have any problems getting 400 hp out of your engine. Just take youe time and don't shortcut anything.

well my reasonable cost is around 7 or 8K i dont mind spending a bit of cash on my car. like most people. Yes i have looked at just about everything for my motor now... but for the past couple of days i havent checked much. I just bought a 1997 toyota supra MKIV Twin tuurbo 6 speed so i had my head in the clouds with that. but thanks for all your help guys if there is anymore advice keep it coming.
