sr20de or sr20ve

Ok my friend is retarded he was trying to tell me that i have a sr20ve when i know that i have a sr20de. I know if i had a sr20ve it would have the lil emblem on the valve cover but is there any other way i can prove this to him.
He also doesnt belive me that the Sr20ve is nissan version of the Honda Vtec so if someone could tell him that he is wrong and i am right. He is a stupid honda ricer.
Also which is better the sr20ve or the sr20de i would think the ve but i beat one in my de so i dont know. thanks guys just need another person to tell him that he doesnt know what he is talking about.

If your car has never had an engine transplant with an SR20VE, then you most definately have an SR20DE.

no USDM car ever had the SR20VE.

I think you should just do your research and prove him wrong that way. It'll help you learn more.

VE=VVL, variable valve lift. Secondary cam grinds, and you can control when the intake and exhaust cams switch over (at least with an MSD setup). the NEO badge is "Nissan Ecology Oriented", which they seem to slap on most engines, clean or not.
