Question on 2000 GXE

I know that I own an RSX and that I really dont belong in this forum but I figure if I got a question to ask might as well ask the guys that would know the most about it. My friend just came up to me and ask a question as to what would be a good performance upgrade for his GXE. Now I said the basic boltons to start off with since we all know you have to start somewhere. His response was I want alot of power. So I proceeded to talk about an SR swap into the car. Now I know a little bit about the 240sx SR swap because that might be a future project I want to start working on. Have to get away from the honda's a little bit if ya know what I mean. So basically my question would be what model SR would fit into a 2000 GXE and what would be the major modifications that would need to be done in order to make this swap fit. Also what is the engine code for the 2000 GXE model. If I am not mistaken its a 1.8l engine but I am not sure if the code itself. I ask because if I can just turbo this car and get good performance right off the bat then thats what he might want to do. I know he should have atleast started out with an SE-R but hey it was his choice and now we have to try to run with it. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Edit* Ya know what I just realized. The sr20det from the 240 wont even work because the sentra is a FWD car. Well shit. Ok then heres another question. What engine would fit into here for him to actually do a swap. Is the Bluebird or GTI-R a choice that would fit or am I totally wrong here.

wrong forum....try the QG18DE section and read around there.....also check out www.nissanperformancemag.com

a swap such as that is going to cost him in excess of $6k to do everything.
