What does everyone think about Clemens?

I'm sure you've heard the rumors that the sox might be courting him again. Personally I still have a deep hatred for him so I'm not sure what to do if this thing goes through.

i think clemens should either retire or become a closer...his body won't hold up for another season as a starting pitcher

i hate the fact that he's still going to play because the stros couldn't help him win it. seriously, he had a great year for nothing. that and the fact that it would have been badass if he could have retired in his hometown.

Shit.....I'd be more worried that yoose guys just lost Jim Morrison....I mean Johnny Damon!! Guess the long locks and beard are soon to be no more..

Clemens....hell I'd take him NOW over any other pitcher on any other team. PERIOD!

We'll I wouldn't trade Bartolo Colon, John Garland, or Dontrelle Willis, plus he can't pitch in a normal rotation because he needs extra rest... most starters pitched about 10 more games during the season.

For me personally, as a lifelong red sox fan, it doesn't matter how good he is right now. It's more about the shit he pulled after he left that pisses me off.

YEP. Experience. Where the Chisox, or Redsox are right now. I'd rather have that Veteran pitcher with a fuckload of experience in my rotation over a pitcher that has a COUPLE of decent years. When he get 5 Cy Young awards, THEN we'll talk.

Hell, the Chisox had a chance in the Mid 90's to get him, but idiot Reinsdorf said he was over the hill.......so he went to Toronto, won the Cy Young and hasn't stopped yet.

But I guess we'll see this year.

yea I know sometimes it seems shitty, but if you had a job offer that paid millons more, I don't think you'd hesitate to get your ass on a plane and get over there...
