I have to agree with you Gimp and I too am a Notre Dame fan. After that game, I'm hard pressed not to agree with USC's #1 ranking.

so sorry, i just put my two cents in on the game. would you like for me to start another thread just to complain about nd losing it? to answer your question, yes i do belive that sc solidified thier number one ranking. i think that the only team that can overtake them is va tech. texas plays in too weak of a conference, which the bcs rankings should show on monday
USC showed why they were number 1 notre dame had such a strong home feild advantage. Leinart could barely call autibles. They kept the thunder aspect of the USC offense at bay but they still won. USC's secondary which is plauged with injuries still somehow didn't let to many points. Odds were definately going against USC. ND is notorious for destroying people winning streaks.
