excuses...excuses They know the White Sox is a better team. Officials do not get the same view as the fans do, and replay after replay with different angles help as well, they do the best they can, they're human like us. Bad calls happen every game, it's just blown out of perspective when it's the world series, without a few calls in their favor neither the Sox or the Angels may of made it to the playoffs...
In season play, Angels beat the WS 6 out of 10 games. I saw the game last night at angels stadium. Great game but bad piece of shit ump's. They almost ruin the game for every fan.
even would be 1 to 1 or 2 to 2. 6 of 10 is 60%. But hey, just liek he said, one bad call after another in favor of the black socks. It didnt help that Vlad had only hit .189 or something like that for the post season..

OH, give me a f'n break. You tell me the last time a pitching staff shut down a team like the Angels. The umps didn't make your team bat .179. The umps didn't make Vlad hit LESS than .100 for the series. The umps didn't make Konerko hit 2 HR's, or Crede bat over .300 and come through in the clutch. There were TWO bad calls, period. The only reason why it was blown out all to hell was the playoffs. In a regular season game it wouldn't have been THAT big of a deal. Can't fault the Sox. They did NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING wrong. They played their ASSES off.
The game is a game of human error and mistakes. The White Sox just capitalized on the misfortune of the Angels. But anyway....too bad, game over, nothing you can do about it now.
SOX WIN! Bring on the Astros!! We'll kick their ass, too!!

As said, smack talk is weak, but facts ^^^ remain strong People are simply looking for excuses, it's basbeall, like he said, bad calls are made EVERY game, it's just blown up b/c it's the playoffs, so what, play through it, it wasn't the Angels or Sox vs the Umps, it was Angels vs Sox and Chicago dominated. No matter what excuses you come up with, the fact is, White Sox are going to the World Series, Angels are going home
By no means am I bias for these teams anyway, I could care less about the AL, Cards are my team and they got raped last night by the umps, am I bitching? No, b/c instead of playing thru it they cried and bitched about it, resulting in their loss.

Ok, facts are facts. If the Angels had cheating players like A.J. Pierzynski, we would have one the second game. But its cool. Umps make bad calls in every game, just not the same playoff series right? oh wait they did make blown calls, against the same team, over and over, in favor of the Shit Socks. But its cool. Good game.

You are the most pathetic sore loser I have ever seen. AJ didn't do ANYTHING wrong. Nothing any other player wouldn't have done, if he thought the ball was dropped as well. Just go back home and suck your thumb a little more and hug your ittle boo bankey!!
BTW - I've been holding this in, in respect of Michael Y.......
I know, lol. You guys are great. Just a little shit talking. Now that the Sox's won, i hope they go all the way. but the Rocket is a formidable apponent.

Really...funny I've watched baseball for years and never once seen what happened in Game 2... playoffs or regular season...hell spring training games for that matter....
The Sox got break after break, any blind person could see that..,,, then the umps finially get the calls right just in time for them to go against the Angels... the luck sucked..but Gimp is right... even with the bad calls, the Angles could have fought through it if the heart of their lineup didn't decide to go on Vacation early....
But hey...it's over..The Sox won, they had the best record in the AL this year and deserve to be in the WS......

FUCK YOU, SOX WON!!!
Why you gotta use my name... I said they won and it was over..
Unfortunatly for the Sox... Game 2 will always be the focal point of the 2005 post season..weather they win it all or not..that call or non call will be remember as long as the Buckner flub..
I'm an AL guy... so I hope they win the WS.. nuff said..

There may not of been that EXACT same call but there have been MANY other bad calls in baseball. Espn did a highlight on bad calls, and as they said "these are just a few," give a break to the umpires, everything happens so quickly, most of us would not be able to last a single game. Could you honestly stand behind someone calling a 90+ mph fastball a ball or strike? Plus with all the other factors or fall tips, dropped balls etc...remember, we do not see the same view as the umpire, he could not see that ball so he had to go by what he heard, and he heard something besides the mit in the ball so his instincts told him it hit the dirt as well, a split second decision did NOT throw the White Sox in the world series.
Also, the game was not over at that point, Angel's pitcher still had to leave a meat pitch for Crede to take on off the wall. He could of easily struck out Crede for the third out, but Crede came through in the clutch and finished it off then.

No what happened was A.J. ran..it confused the Ump.. After he called him out.. Then with 65,000 Home Town Fans screaming he backed out of the call simply based on the Batter running..

Could have, should have, maybes... This above comment means nothing.. Who's to say the Angels would have scored 3 or 4 in the top of the 10th.. The inning should have been over.. only Die Hard Sox fans are the only ones that can't admit they got a 4th out.. I haven't seen one columnist, one reporter, one Baseball show saying anything other than it was a bad call... How many times do you have to see the reply of the Ump calling the 3rd strike then the out... It wasn't a bad call.. it was a total Meltdown under pressure..
It's easy..say it with slowly if it help... WE GOT A HUGE BREAK AND IT TURNED THE SERIES... Like I said the SOX won and deserve credit...but SOX fans like you have to admit you got a freebie in that one..
