I have the ONLY 2002 Sentra SE-R SCCA-legal racecar in the US.
I competed in SCCA National races last year and in the Valvoline Runoffs.
You can check it out at:
www.SCCA.org. Look for the Runoffs results for the SSC race (that's Showroom Stock C).
There's even a picture of my car along with the results.
The motor blew up in that race.
Nissan MotorSports promised to help, but they haven't.
So, now I am looking at either putting another QR25 in, or selling it as is.
If someone were to buy it, here's what you'd get:
A perfect & pristine car. No dings or dents.
Car has a custom welded in roll-cage, mandrel bent exhaust, fire extinguisher, racing seat, window net, and all the stuff that makes it a racecar. BUT, it is also street-legal, and all the vinyl is easily removable.
There are loads of spares (brakes, rotors, an extra ECU, and lots more) and 3 complete sets of factory wheels with track tires. Two of the tires are brand new.
New, the car cost $16K and the mods to make it into a racecar cost over $5K more. Obviously, I have to take a big loss.
Nissan MotorSports seems to have abondoned me.
So, my first question is: Would anyone be interested in this car, as is?
And, my 2nd question is: What $$$ should I ask for??
TIA,
Barry
