Auto -> Manual Swap
Quick question on tranny...
I was fortunate enough to get a hold of 97 240SX SE but it's an automatic.
I've been looking to swap them to manual and did speak to various shops
about the swap. however, the price they offered me was $2500+ !!
not only that, 4 out of the 5 shops discouraged me from doing it but they didn't give me any convincing reason. can someone please help?
also, how much is the average cost of the work?
btw, I used to drive a 96 silvia when I lived in Japan...
I wanted to get a newer model of S14 so I searched over a month
for this car

I didn't realize US spec had a different engine and no turbo...
