If i start my car when it is cold there is a winding noise coming from under the hood by the drivers side. It only does this when the cars cold and when it warms up it goes away. Does anybody know what this could be? It is very loud and you can her it if you are driving by. Also it only goes along with the rpms. So say i push in the clutch it goes away but comes back when i let out the clutch.
I've read of two things that could cause this, throw-out bearing and input shaft bearing, my tranny does the same thing after the 2 hardcore years of abuse I've put it through. I would think it the input shaft bearing, can someone confirm whoch of these is most likely?
