Hello everyone I just wanted to find out what it takes exactly to do a 240sx to silvia conversion ??? I know about the sr20det motor swap but is there any other things to know while doing the swap ?? Also where can I find good sources to get the silvia face and emblems ?? Once the sr20 is in there is it a must to ship parts from Japan ?? Sorry I'm just starting to get a hold of this silvia 240sx thing and thank you for any kind of help

all you need is a jdm front clip from a silvia with all the body parts, look on ebay,theres always frt.clips.(the front of the car that has been cut.)

yes there's the sr20det swap.. are you talking about s13 front end or s15 front end??

you need, oem fenders, hood, lights, bracket, and a front bumber. bumper support will be lost. i would recommend going to a shop to do this.

no you do not have to ship parts from japan after you have done the sr20det swap. there are plenty of shops in the country that have sr20 parts in stock.

www.phase2motortrend.com is one of the greatest 240sx/sr20 shops i know. they also carry front clips and a lot of info abou the sr20 swaps
