hey ,i'm a new member here i'm a senior in high school going into the air force, right now i have a 95 civic ex coupe,5speed, nice first car, was hoping to get a 2gen mr2 like my friends but anyway, i'm not modding it ,and was thinking and planning with the money i get threw the air force i wanted to get a 98 240sx, and get a sr20det swap have it all blacked out,and just make a nice all around race car, because i know it would kick ass, well anyway i was just wandering anyone have pics of there 95-98, and what changes they made, i thought i noticed a difference with the headlights but that might have been someone doing like a siliva transform type thing but anyway if you guys have pics i would love to seem ,more questions to come thanks guys

I don't have any pics but i can tell you a little bit. 95-96 is the S14, 97-98 is the MCS14(MC= minor change). the only differences being the headlights,front fenders, front bumper cover, and tail lights. Keep in mind that if you want to just want the 97-98 because of the front end look you can bye a 95-96 for a lot cheaper and get the 97-98 front end parts from your local nissan dealer for around $1500. that would most be your best bet if you are planing an engine swap anyway because with the money you save you can bye mods for the new engine. Try to get an SE version because they have 5lug rims, white guages, and spoiler already on it(some have ABS and LSD, but not all SE's). If you go to ebaymotors you can see the differences make sure if you are looking at a 97-98 that it has a clean title because I have seen a few that have been crashed in the front and the 95-96 front end has been put on to save $$$.
