Post Any tips

I got a 96 240 with a ka and im rebuilding the engine( its at the machine shop now). its my first engine rebuild and i dont want to screw anything up. Is there anything at all that i need to watch out for or make sure i do. Im getting eagles rods, wiseco pistons, crower cams, 1piece drive shaft, koyo radiator, HKS exhaust, header, intake, tein springs, flywheel and a bunch other new stuff. I already know about the cams and changing the intake to the exhaust side. I just wanted to ask some1 else that has rebuilt the ka if they ran into any problems they werent expecting.

The idea of switching intake with exhaust cam dealt with stock cams only. If you're getting custom aftermarket cams, they are ground with more duration then the stock units.

Make that you pre-oil the motor before starting it up.

You have to do that with the crower cams becuase there designed for FWD so you just have to grind alittle bit of 1 cam and change them, i already called them.
