Possile 240sx owner soon

i might buy a friends 95 240sx se for 4grand
custom dark green with crazy flake with lighter green ghost flames on front end
and white 18" rims (i think like 90k mi) but other then that, is all stock

its a good possibility ill get it but i dunno if im getting myself into more then i want to deal with.
At first i had a goal of a hatchback civic with NO power, no ac, no ps, no nothing, just shaved door handles and custom orange pearl paint with the lightest honda rims on there for like 2.5grand, then when i get it strip it completely, lower it real nice and swap in a fully built ls vtec with around 220WHP
but i got to thinking, thats gonna be real expensive to put out such low numbers
and now ive got an opportunity at this beautiful green 240sx and i dunno if i want to swap in a sr20det or go KA-T.
for the 240, cus i will keep the full interior and all power everything, id like around 300WHP. and i dunno how much work that is gonna be for either engine.
what kind of numbers to the turbo kits for the KA's put out with a nice exhaust and a few bolt ons?
what about a sr20det with some basic bolt ons?
id rather go KA-T but i dunno really what im getting myself into.
id like to do this the cheapest way possible.
