AEM EMS 95-98 240sx

yo,
it's been a long time since i've been on these boards. anyways, i saw on AEM's website that their EMS for the USDM s14 is up. anyone got it? tried it? some guy from AEM posted on here a long time ago sayin +37hp and +45tq. i know it'd be more cost effective to go turbo or engine swap, but yeah just wondering on their results.

well its standalone engine manegement and to get any gains, or even drive your car your going to need dyno time. The bonus here is whatever you do from here on out after you purchase the EMS it can handle it. The downside is its a lot of money to just have on mostley stock N/A car.

nvm, i found the dyno

it was done with one baseline
one short ram intake and DC sports headers
one with intake, headers, and EMS

so with intake, headers, AND and their EMS, they gained 27.4hp and 30.6tq over stock. not very impressive to me for $2800. and i don't know y they have a pic of a 97-98 with a label 1994 240sx...

i guess it does offer a lot of monitoring and control though. it should give tuners somethin to mess with in their spare time.

i think you might be missing something here, the EMS is a full standalone unit designed for people running a decent amount of boost. You have complete control over ignition maps and are able to tune for optimal performance on a turbo car, in this case one that didnt come that way from the factory.
