Wheel spacers

I just about have my z32 calipers ready to rock and put on. The thing is I know what size of spacer to put on but I have reading a lot of how people don't really like putting spacers on. Is there something about spacers I should know? I know I'll need longer wheel studs for the bigger spacers and that isn't really an issue but if there is anything with safety or what have you about spacers I should be aware of. Thanks

Big spacers make your wheels stick out and look stoopid. Plasma cutting your old 240 rotors is the easiest way to get a spacer. The stud length issue on large spacers and dumb look of wide front wheels on factory fenders is the main issue people have with spacers.
