My clutch pedal is all the way depressed and wont come back up. i checked the clutch fluid level; was empty so i filled it up with brake fluid. I start the car up, still the clutch pedal is down. Now, I start the car and the it makes rattling noises. Seems to be coming from underneath the hood towards bottom of the car. Any suggestions and if so easy to fix by self?
Any idea what the rattling noise is?

If your pedal fell to the floor, and the resevoir was empty, you've pumped air into the hydro system...you'll need to fully bleed it at the slave cylinder on the tranny.
