Ok little back ground got a 90 240sx Fast Back with a blown ka24 engine... Prolly a cracked pistion from abuse and overrev.

Anyway Im buying a sr20 motor but without a tranny... Now question is will the stock 5 speed KA24 tranny bolt up to the new Engine?? Ive heard yes btu I havnt seen this proof anywhere.

Also I have noticed that a few of the old 24osx have problems with water and rust in the tire well... Is there a reason for this because my car has a leak someone in the rear seal where water drains into the the spare tire well.

Help would be nice thank... And if this is noob to you all I appolgize in advance lol New to the whole Import market but Ive liked it so far

No, it will not as is. You'll have to replace the KA bellhousing with an SR bellhousing.
