just bought a 240

Hey just bought a 93 240 coupe. Is there anything specail that it needs besides the oil changes and other fluids. I was also wonder how to get rid of the speed limiter on the ecu. I heard that it was just one wire that came out that you would cut but just wanted to know. Thanx

I have a few questions about my car. First off isnt it pretty normal for the ka's to have a some what noisey valves. Second there is a little light right by my shifter that turns on when i put it in 2nd and 4th is that normal.

Pretty much everyone's KA has noisy valves, that is why they get rid of them!
My friends 92 NX200 with the FWD variant of the SR20 in it had Noisy valves too! So I assume it is something to do with Nissan 4Cyl motors, about the Shift Light see your other post!

4 cyl in general is really noisy. Every honda 4 cyl, especially the dohc ones, are noisy as hell.

Do you think i need to adjust the valves at all. And if so wouldnt it make it quiter if i did. Thanx

Yeah you might want to have that looked but first change the oil see if that helps if you havent done so. I think the dohc timing chain also makes noise might want to check into that.

I changed the oil in it and noticed that it quited down alittle bit. im going to take the valve cover off and check them.
