Hello All... It's been forever since I last posted, and I know that everyone posts about this (I still remember how to search ) But I want to know what's the most common reason for the HUD dilemma. I think mine may be the projection unit, because it's only the Speedo that's out (both in the cluster and the heads-up) everthing else still works, and lights up. so what seem to be the most common causes for these things dying? Alot of people's first reponse was "fuses" but apparently they don't cause to much trouble. Input please.

Most common reason for HUD's failing (behind the obvious accessory fuses) is the solder joins inside the HUD unit drying out and cracking, breaking the circuit.
A common symptom is the HUD works when the car warms up or its a hot day (solder joins expand, reconnecting the circuit)
