which jdm cluster

hi, i am new to the forums here, and i am hoping i can get some help, i just purchased a 89 240sx, it has a sr20det 95 black top with the tranny and turbo, the cluster gauge doesnt work, the speedo works but thats about it, and the seller said that all you need is a jdm cluster gauge, can someone point to me which one i need, one where i can see all the instruments working, where i can find and buy one? and feedback would help a lot thanks

IF you just want a cluster go on ebay and search for "JDM 180sx cluster" And bid away... The only thing you really need is the Tachometer from the JDM cluster cause your 89 was meant for a SOHC engine not a DOHC.

Hey I thought that you could use a instrument cluster from a 1991 or newer 240sx because they are dohc as well... But I have bought two and neither seems to want to work. Do you have any ideas on this???

Seems to me that someone either messed up on the wiring or the cluster you got is bunk!
