Question Totalled 200sx SE-R, '93 240sx...

Okay, I just need help figuring out one thing. I have a 1996 200sx SE-R which unfortunately got totalled recently. I miss it a lot obviously, anyone who has ever driven one would understand that... But as it was such a great car, I want to see that all usuable parts are put to good use if possible. I know I could sell the engine (because all but the radiator are fine) and I will most likely end up doing this.

However at the moment my friend is thinking about purchasing a 1993 240sx. I went and looked at it with her (actually I'm the one that told her about it in the first place ) and the car is in very nice condition. It needs a new fly wheel though, and tires. I was wondering if anyone knows, assuming the flywheel on my SR20DE engine is in good condition, would it be plausible to replace the faulty flywheel on the 240sx with the fly wheel from my SE-R engine? This would be for financial purposes only; buying a new fly wheel for the 240 would not be out of the question, it is simply that financially, if the one on my engine would fit her car fine, that would be more practical. I think.

Okay, thanks for your help!

I would have to agree the KA has truck roots which will mean a bigger heavier fly wheel for added tourqe. Where as the sr is car bassed with more than likley smaller diameter flywheel also bold patterns and clutch interchangablity would run into factor here.
