'93 240sx transmission issue
I have a 1993 Nissan 240sx with automatic transmission. Recently the transmission has started to stick (not changing gears) between 1st and 2nd. Most of the time if I run the car up to 5000-6000 RPM it will kick over or I can come to a complete stop then go again. It may have happened between 2nd and 3rd once but I cannot remember. My thinking is a vacuum hose is wearing out but I do not know where to begin with this. I had someone else suggest the TPS(throttle position sensor).
This has been going on for about 6 months. This only happened once a week or so but now it is starting to happen more often.
Does anybody have any suggestions before I take this thing to a mechanic?
