I already did a search and didn't really find anything useful because people weren't really sure about the ECU? Anyone know now? I really need cruise but mine didn't come with it to begin with. I have an 89' stick. Can I use one of the buttoms on the left of the steering wheel (below your hazards I think) instead of getting a new steering wheel? BTW, I can't find a kit that has one for a 240? Anyone know of any good ones? If someone could "invite" a cruise control I'd also try that too. Thx
And the rest of you bitches who do nothing but lick each others anus's and high five your retarded flame posts can all go suck a dick, I'm done with this cracker forum.
cruise has nothing to do with the ecu. To incorporate it, I guarantee is more than you're willing to go through. Look in the engine bay (of a car with cruise control) for that black box looking thing connected to the second throttle cable. That will give you and idea about how much work you have to do.

there's a different throttle body for it. i'm sure there is something to do with it in the ECU as well. something needs to know when to turn it on and off and stuff.
You can buy aftermarket cruise control kits. They consist of a management unit that connects to the speed wire of the ecu, a brake switch and controls throttle by a servo attached either directly to the throttle butterfly or a cable. They are quite simple to install, biggest problem being attaching the servo to the butterfly spindle.
