what essential parts are needed for a swap on an 90 240sx beside the engine and the harness and ecu.
power steering pump hose,heater hose 's,what else?


also ,can a se-r seats fit my car ,or any other year 240sx fit my 90 240sx i need seats reallybad! my drive seat is broken! BRIDE AND RECARO SEATS R ALOT OF LOOT.

almost everybody on this forum is going to tell you this:

ALWAYS GET A FRONT CLIP WHEN DOING A SWAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you will have EVERYTHING and you won't have to go look for things that costs a LOT and a LOT of time.. ex.) ignitor chip is 350$ and are sometimes missing on motorsets. another reason why you should get a front clip is you might get some freebies i know of ppl that got hks triple-plate clutches in their cars..t28bb turbos in their s13 sr20det clips..brembo brakes..etc, you get the point.. GET A FRONT CLIP

i think the seats will fit but you might need custom seat brackets..

and thats it. everything else can be bought at a store.

Heater hoses...I used the KA hoses. I the KA power steering lines. I cant think of anythign else. Alot of peopel say get a clip, but i have heard of cases where peopel had stuff missing on a clip, but it is still good prcative to get a clip. If nothing else, liek vsp3c said, you may get freee goodies. I WANT SOEM FREE GOODIES DAMNIT

The seats from an S14 should fit in the S13. what SE-R are you talking about? the newer ones would need new brakets as well as the older ones. i have a friend with an 89 Jetta GLi and i was going to snag his Recaros for my car, but i'd need some custom brakets.
