hey guys, got a question for you. i just bought silvania H4 headlights from kragen for my 91 240, and the left head, for some reason is on highbeam. no matter what i do to it its always to bright. and its annoying cause all these others cars going the other direction is always flashing the lights at me. you think its faulty wiring or is it the headlight pls. help!

it's either the light or the wiring harness itself.
with the maximas, if you put higher wattage bulbs in, it freakin melts the wiring harness. so damn gay. i forgot all the details, but my bulbs were actin real funny. don't worry though, my harnesses were only like $20 a pop to replace.
but most likely it's the bulb.

now, when you say it could be the bulb. does that mean that it has to be a certain kind of a H4 bulb. cause actually. before i slapped on those cheap kragen silvania H4 lamps, my head lights were working fine. and those were raybrig bulbs, H4. so i guess my car is picky then. like me.

no, when we say the bulb, we mean the bulb itself is FUBAR'ed
try swapping the bulbs. if the left one is still stuck on high beam, then it's the wiring or harness for the left headlight assembly. if it's the right, it's the bulb.
easy check
