Rear Subframe (crisis in progress)
I am an Idiot, I am wrenchin along on my 90 240 and I decide to drop the rear axle to get ready to swap in a lsd and lo and behold, the friggin subframe breaks about a 2 inch hole in it, rusted straight through, but of course it was covered with undercoating so when i looked at it i didn't notice it, Now the question is, How do I go about replacing or repairing a bad subframe, I obviously dont want to put a ton of horsepower through a chassis that isn't functionally sound. I am droppin an RB25 in so i need it fixed, but I have way too much time and money in this car to scrap the project. Appreciate the help.
