i had this problem........pull the spark plug cable out, and at the very end of it, get some pliers and squeeze on it slightly(the metal part that holds the spark plug becomes loose and doesnt grip the plug well)

sounds more like your plugs aren't tight enough or was threaded incorrectly.

can you explain the connection between spark plug wires coming loose and spark plugs not tight enuff?

maybe thats it cause i wasn't sure how much to tighten and maybe didn't tighten enuff. i'm sure the threads aren't stripped.

first time it happened 2,3 and 4th cylinder plugs came loose. second time only 3rd one was loose and then third again. each time i took out the spark plug and reinstalled them hoping that would solve the problem and i guess it did for the 2nd and 4th cylinders. thanks for all the answers guys.

check your FSM or a Chilton's/Hayne's Manual and they'll tell you how much to torque your plugs. from there, just use a torque wrench (they're a nice tool to buy, if you don't have one) and you're good to go.
