Eibach pros??

When I bought this car the previous owner said that he had eibach pros on it. I checked the springs, they say eibach but I cant picture a stock 240 drop....Does this look like a pro kit drop?

Those dont look like a eibach pro kit. The least you can drop your car with eibach is 1.5 inches and that would be way lower than that. The car doesnt even look like its dropped. I think the guy probably painted the damn eibach sign on it himself.

Are those wheels stock size? If they're any larger then 15s then I'd say that it's probably not a Pro-kit.

Those are 15"s. Yeah...its kind of confusing me. Im pretty sure they are Eibachs...they have a number ill have to jot down and compare with the Eibach part #. *shrug* 1 more mystery to solve.

Pro-kits don't drop the car much at all. that may look like stock height, but remember that most 240SX owners that aren't into modifying the car usually have original springs and just replace the shocks/struts and hardly ever replace the springs. imagine original springs on a 10+ y/o car, they've settled A LOT over the years. actual OE height is a little higher than that.

and are you sure those are 15"s? those look smaller than 15"s.

They are 15's. And the struts were replaced (he had reciepts) with kyb agx struts in the rear, and bilstien heavy duty in the front. Springs and struts arent that much $$ anyway.

Whats a good combo on the 240?

depends on the kind of driving you'll be doing in it.

i had Eibach Sportlines sitting on Tokico Blues (FYI, don't get these shocks/struts). the springs gave an excellent stance, but the shocks/struts were weak for the price i paid for them. you'd be MUCH better off getting KYB AGXs, and they're adjustable too.

they started out stiff (the way i wanted it), but it started to get soft around the 6 month mark, then i started into some drifting (which is obviously going to soften it up, but i wasn't trippin').
