compression ?

ok heres my compression 170 (1 cylinder) 155(2cylinder) 155(3 cylinder)
160 (4 cylinder) ok am i having a serious issue ive had all sorts of of people saying i have rings going out on 2,3 and some saying head gasket any info i would greatly appreciated

do i have anything to worry about thanks paulie

well if its rings you will get smoke, or a loss of oil.

if its the head gasket you will get milky white residue in the coolant and coolant in oil.

without really doing a leakdown test and pressure test in the coolant system to check for leaks to see if its the gasket you wont really know.

heads not so much all the time but sometimes they crack from heat which can lead to compression problems also,

but checking and making sure its not the rings is most important otherwise if its just a gasket thats not a big deal but a new block is, so knowing exactly what it is is most important

i dont think you have anything to worry about. I would just say that is normal wear.

i would agree also. 155 isnt to die for. its not bad if you really wanna know if you have bad rings you have to do a cylinder leak down test not a compression test.

well thanks guys as for the compression test the pdf file i have for the ka24de says to poor a little oil in the cylnders (tea spoon ) and if compression goes up its probably rings so right now im not going to worry about it to much if you guys say its prob. fine then im leaveing it until i have the money to do a leak don test
