hey guys it rained tonight so i headed for a big empty parking lot like i usually do in the rain. I find it a lot easier on the tires to drift on wet pavement lol.
I was drifting on and off for about 30-45 mins. Out of no where, without any warning my car started to make a realy weird grinding kind of noise when i was deep into the drift. I'm not sure whats making the sound. Defiantly sounds like it's coming from the back of the car. I was thinking the diff or mabey one of the cv axles? i can get a little sideways without the sound happening. Its just when the car is nice and sideways that it makes this grinding sound. I'd appreciate some ideas as to what exactly is causing this sound.
just a few questions how sideways where you and do you have bigger rims? the body shift sends one half of your car down to the ground it could just be your wheels scrapping your inner fenders if its not that than i don't know but take someone with you next time and have them stand out side the car i think that if it where your diff theyd her it
Location: Japan, but not in that part ...no, not quite there either. A little more to the left of there.

And this is why you don't drift on stock suspention or tires with a large side wall, they both create too much body roll. "There's more to Drifting then just going really fast and getting your tires to break traction."
